#1: A Domain Name
This one is simple, you need a domain name to brand yourself and so you can setup multiple subdomains for all of your affiliate links.
You can buy a domain name from Godaddy or Namecheap.
#2: A Website or Blog
There are MANY different ways to go about this...
If you just want a quick personal blog, you can use something like Onepager from Namecheap:
If you want some more flexibility, you may want to go the Wordpress route.
Most hosting companies come with an installer to make installing wordpress super simple. One of these hosts is eHost
They have very inexpensive hosting packages you can signup for and make things very easy to get started.
Another option for a blog is GHOST. This is what I am currently using for VincentWebb.com
You can signup and try it out for 14 days free at http://ghost.io
If you are expecting your website to get hit with a lot of traffic, you may want to step up to a more powerful server.
My favorite hosting platform right now is LiquidWeb. They offer 'Storm VPS Servers' which have SSD drives running them.
The price is about 20x more than ehost, but you get the support from their team of server wizards to help you if things go wrong.
I've never waited more than 15 minutes to get a response to my support tickets. These guys are on point, and I trust my most important servers with them.
What good is advertising, if you can't track your results? If you are going to be running traffic from multiple places to your website, you need
the right kind of tracking to determine which of your advertising efforts are working and which are just wasting your money.
For tracking, we like to use: Trck.me
In order to build a list you will need an autoresponder. Depending on the tools you use, you may already have one builtin to your marketing system.
Some popular options for people who want to build a list are to use:
#5: Capture Page Software
While your blog may be all you need, if you are going to buy solo ads or do paid clicks, you may want to send those clicks to a dedicated capture pages that is setup to do 1 thing and 1 thing only, to put people on your list!
The downsides to these platforms is that they cost quite a bit of money and have a steep learning curve.
One option is to use Simple2Advertise's Capture Page Creator which you can see in action here:
This capture page creator comes free as part of your GMC Toolsuite membership.
With these 5 tools you will be on your way to being able to create money on demand by promoting products and services on the internet where you can recieve a commission when sales are made.
